In districts 1 to 10 and 20 the maximum permitted parking period is 2 hours from Monday to Friday from 09:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Short stay parking tickets are available in most tobacconists and at public transport ticket machines and must be filled in and placed visibly behind the windshield.
Due to the limited amount of public parking spaces it might happen that you do not find a free space immediately, this is likely to happen especially in the evenings and on weekends.
We recommend that you leave your car in a Park&Ride station or in a garage and change to public transportation. The nearest Park&Ride station is „Park&Ride U3 Erdberg“, Franzosengraben 2, 1030 Wien.
